Sumner Elementary School Playground

Hello my name is Cincere Holmes. The School I
go to is Charles Sumner School, Camden, New Jersey. Our problem is our play area is concrete. The solution is a play ground. We need something to do at recess. How we is stay out of trouble is with your help. The students can have a positive recreation experience. What they should do next is come visit our School. Contact our Principal Mrs Kauffman Camden Board of Education. May you please help us make a play ground.

A few years ago, the only playground at Sumner Elementary school (pre-K-6^th grade) was condemned as unsafe and taken down by the Camden school district.  The lot still sits empty.  This blog was created to give the staff, students, and families of Sumner the opportunity to share their hopes and suggestions for a new safe place for play during the school day, through art, video, and writing.
